Prayer for Protection Over Our Families

God Hears & Answers a Faithful Woman's Prayers |

The enemy has fought against the authority of women for centuries. He has feasted on our shortcomings and tries to convince us to doubt the power we have through Jesus Christ to seek deliverance for ourselves and those we love. The enemy has tried to shut us up because he knows that God heeds our call based on the calling he has placed on our lives, which is to watch over the gifts with which he impregnates us. We have a place close to God's heart and he will answer our requests because he has positioned himself as a counteractive force to our vulnerabilities. He is interested in our desires and ready to cover us whenever we ask. We have been implanted with the gift of intercession because we are the soil from which our families grow. We have been given the power to nurture the beginnings of every seed that is planted in our family and also the power to destroy all the seeds planted by the enemy. So today, let's pray together for the deliverance of our families:



Mighty God,

We pray for your forgiveness. If there are sins we have committed that are creating a disconnect between our prayers and your grace, please forgive us. God we pray that you will have mercy upon us and extend this mercy toward our families. 

Today, we are lifting up our sons/daughters/etc. in prayer to you. In Psalm 91:11-12, your word says:

"For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways.

On their hands they will bear you up,

    lest you strike your foot against a stone." 

Lord, please send your strongest angels to guard, to provide us your security and safety. Destroy, and set on eternal fire the plans of the enemy against your will for our lives, God Almighty, in Jesus name. In Jesus name I declare the hand of the enemy upon my son/daughter/etc. is now forever broken.

God we pray that you will surround our homes with your protection. Fill up our houses with your presence. Set up your barriers at every corner so that nothing that is not permitted by you will be able to enter. Cover our families under your blood and we plead the blood of Jesus against forces that may be working against or seeking to sabotage destinies and delay your promises in our lives. We declare that all your original plans for our lives and the lives of our sons/daughters are now restored in Jesus name. May  the lost years that the caterpillar, the canker worms and locusts have eaten be returned in Jesus name.


"We believe in the refuge in your mighty name and that you are our fortress and shield. In Psalm 121:7-8, your word says that you will keep us from all evil; you will also keep your life and your going out and your coming in forevermore.

We trust in your promise to provide for and protect our families. We stand against the plans of the devil with you and our angels as our allies.

May you also guard our hearts, minds, and spirits from influences that will seek to create kinks in your armour of protection around us shielding us from the enemy's schemes and ensuring our family remains steadfast in faith. We claim your promise that no weapon that is fashioned against us shall succeed, that we will refute every tongue that rises against us

We thank you, Lord, for your promise of protection over our family. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
